The Oneplus 9 series that is consist of Oneplus 9 and Oneplus 9 Pro have been launched in a virtual event on Tuesday, along with Oneplus 9R and the much-awaited Oneplus Watch. Both the phones are the successor to the Oneplus 8 and 8 Pro of last year's. Both the phones come with cameras powered by Swedish brand Hasselblad and they are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The main features consist of a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 4,500mAh battery with 65W warp fast charging support and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Price of Oneplus 9 and Oneplus 9 Pro

The price of Oneplus 9 is set at Rs 49,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage while 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is set at Rs 54,999. The Oneplus 9 Pro is at Rs 64,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage while 12GB RAM and 256GB storage at Rs 69,999. 

The Oneplus 9 will be available in Arctic Sky, Astral Black and Winter Mist colour options. On the other hand, Oneplus 9 Pro is available in Morning Mist, Pine Green and Stellar Black.

The Oneplus 9 will go on sale from April 15 through oneplus.in, Amazon India and retail partners. On the other hand, the Oneplus 9 Pro now will be available for pre-order in India through companies official website and open sales start from April 1st through the Oneplus official website, Amazon India site and retail partners.

Specifications of Oneplus 9

The Oneplus 9 features a 6.55-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED Punch-Hole display, with a refresh rate of 120Hz, aspects ratio of 20:9 and protected by 3D Corning Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. The phone also has a cooling system called the Oneplus Cool Play.

On the camera side, it has a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX689 primary sensor with electronic image stabilisation(EIS), there is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. On the front, the phone has 16-megapixels Sony IMX471 camera for selfie and video chat. 

The Oneplus 9 runs on Android 11 based OxegenOS 11 on top, it is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. For North America and Europe, the Oneplus 9 comes with a 15W Qi wireless charging. The connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, GPS/A-GPS and USB Type-C port charging and data sync.

The Oneplus 9 comes with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The sensor onboard accelerometer, gyroscope, dual ambient light sensor and proximity sensor. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. The phone measures 160X73.9X8.1mm and weighs 183 grams.

The Oneplus 9 Pro features a 6.7-inch QHD+ Fluid 2.0 AMOLED display with (LTPO) low-temperature polycrystalline oxide technology that enables a Smart 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also has Hyper touch support that increases the touch response to 360Hz when playing mobile games. It also comes with an Oneplus Cool Play for the cooling system while playing games. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC which is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

On the camera side, it has a quad rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX789 primary sensor with electronic image stabilisation(EIS), there is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 ultra-wide-angle camera, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor.
